Last Friday’s performance at the grand opening of the new Uptown 1st Street Lounge in Brentwood was spectacular! My backup band included all-stars, Carrie Streeter on keyboards, Kimball Hooker on drums, and my brother Myron Edwins on bass and vocals. Ownership was very pleased with the show and is already in the process of booking more dates this year.
Check out the snippet release of my new track, Take It Easy Baby! This one is real bouncy!

Went to NAMM 2013 in Anaheim this past January. Saw a lot of new products and rubbed shoulders with a lot of musical professionals. Highlight was seeing George Benson and Ray Parker Jr. at the Fender booth. Also hung out with pros Michael Hurwitz, Aphex; John Paris, Earth, Wind & Fire drummer; Jaee Logan & Antoine Davis, Bay Area Producers, Darryl Anders, artist; and many more. Looking forward to NAMM 2014!!!!
This past weekend’s show at Nature’s Hideaway (the new Wild Vine Hideaway) in Danville was OFF DA HOOK. The place was rocking with a huge crowd, tearing up the dance floor all night. Backup band consisted of Geo Starr on bass, Anthony Conlon on keys and Andre Preston on drums. Special guest appearances were made by vocalists Irene “The Queen” Edwins, Stacy Carter and Rodney Gregory.
Look for the Jeff Edwins R&B Dance Show back at Nature’s Hideaway on Friday, October 26th.
I hope to see you all then!!!
